Chris Prisco
Christopher Prisco (founding member) is a student at Chaminade High School in Mineola, N.Y. where he travels by train via Long Island Railroad. Academically, Chris has worked hard to be in the top 10% of his class and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is active in several clubs and school activities such as Science Olympiad, Speech and Debate, Sodality, Social Studies Club, Drama Club, Music Club, and Freshman and
J.V. Soccer.
In middle school at Trinity Regional School, he carried the leadership role of vice-president and received an academic scholarship from Catholic Daughters of the Americas, as well as a music award and community service award from St. Philip Neri Church when graduating. During his early school years, he developed a passion for musical theater. He played the lead part of Tevye in “Fiddler on the Roof “ and Curly in “Oklahoma”. In addition, he played Tom Sawyer in “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” in Community Theater along with Airport Playhouse in Bohemia. Other acting favorites include: Lord Evelyn in “Anything Goes”, Jesus in “Godspell”, Horton in “Seussical”, Demitri in “Anastasia”, and the lead role of Paul in an original of “The Day the Music Died”.
Chris has many different interests that he has enjoyed juggling over his lifetime. He started playing soccer at age four. He has participated on a Northeast Regional Premier Soccer League
for three seasons. His musical endeavors include playing his guitar and singing. For the past 1 1/2 years Chris has cantored at
St. Anthony of Padua Church in East Northport, N.Y. He looks forward to performing with his MusiCare friends while volunteering in a stewardship fashion. It has been a rewarding experience to fundraise for children with special needs while sharing his love for music within his community.
