singing at a young age and sang for
St. Hugh of Lincoln Parish children’s
choir for seven years.
She is now a cantor there.
Singing at the nursing homes and community events proved to be very fullfilling for Merika
where she realized that sharing her time and talent for others is
a pleasurable opportunity. She feels that participating in another realm of fund-raising for
children with disabilities is very worthwhile. MusiCare is a venue where
can use her abilities for the benefit of others which is something
that she truly enjoys.
